The international coaching symposium will be held on 20 and 21 May during the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Tampere.

The line-up of speakers will be completed, and coaches Cara Morey and Todd Woodcroft will be joining through cooperation with The Coaches Site. 

Cara Morey is the head coach of the women’s ice hockey team The Tigers at Princeton University. She has e.g., helped lead the Tigers to ECAC quarterfinals five times as well the ECAC semifinals. Morey participated in national sports organization Hockey Canada’s female coach development initiative to promote world-class performance and leadership skills.

Todd Woodcroft is the head coach of the men’s ice hockey team in University of Vermont. In 2016 he joined NHL team Winnipeg Jets as an assistant coach. He was part of the coaching team until 2020. Woodcroft has been e.g., an assistant coach for Belarus and Switzerland during international competition. He has also served in scouting role with several NHL teams.
