Latvian defender Silvers Lazarenoks, who was injured in yesterday’s game, won’t be able to continue the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship due to a lower-body injury.
Lazarenoks was replaced on the Latvian roster in accordance with the replacement procedure by forward Kristians Samitis of the Philadelphia Rebels. Samitis was part of the team during the pre-competition camp.
