The 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III Directorate Disciplinary Panel has issued a one-game suspension against Türkiye player Mehmet Karadag due to an illegal checking to the head or neck incident against Israel player Shon Kazinets in yesterday’s game between the two teams.

Karadag will therefore be suspended for today’s Kyrgyzstan vs. Türkiye game.
