The 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Championship Division II, Group B Directorate Disciplinary Panel has issued a one-game suspension against Bulgarian player Tomislav Georgiev due to a checking from behind incident against Mexican player Toshio Matsubara in yesterday’s game between the two teams.
 
Tomislav Georgiev will therefore be suspended for the Bulgaria vs. New Zealand game.
