The 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship will be played in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the ticket release initially scheduled for 14 February 2023 will be moved two weeks later, to 2 March.

The IIHF World Junior Championship is known for offering both entertaining and action-packed hockey, where the future stars do their utmost to show off. “We have noticed a high demand from international and Swedish audiences, and we just need a little more time to set a game schedule that is optimal for the teams and for all the fans,” says the organizing committee’s General Secretary, Mikael Haglund. ”All fans need to be patient for two extra weeks,” says Haglund further, “but then you need to be on your toes to get your ticket.”

The ticket sales for the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship now start on 2 March 2023, at IIHF.com and worldjuniors.hockey, with prices from 120 SEK (excluding service charges).
