The 2024 IIHF Championship Disciplinary Panel for the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division II Group A has issued a warning against Ilaj MICHALEVIC for Charging against Mees WINGERDEN.
The incident occurred at 54:40 during the 3rd period of Game No. 10 (NED v. LTU) on 15.12.2023,
The Championship Disciplinary Panel determined that because the Player buildings up speed while focusing more on NED #3 rather than the puck and then delivers an aggressive check to NED #3 while in close proximity to the boards, he is deemed to have violated Official Playing Rule 42 (Charging), he shall be sanctioned as follows:
