The 2024 IIHF Championship Disciplinary Panel for the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division III A has issued a one game suspension to Team Turkmenistan’s Amangeldi Aganiyazov for violating IIHF Official Playing Rule 50 (kneeing).
The incident occurred at 45:00 in the 3rd period of Game number 11 between Thailand and Turkmenistan.
The Championship Disciplinary Panel determined that, because the player deliberately extended his knee when making contact with his opponent and because the Player deliberately drove his knee forward after making the contact with his opponent, he recklessly endangered his opponent and violated Official Playing 50 – Kneeing.
Due to the suspension, the Player will miss game number 14 between Mexico and Turkmenistan.
