The preliminary round is over, and the playoff round is set! Wednesday, 30 April will see the busiest day of the tournament with five games on the slate. Here’s how the day shapes up:

Quarter-finals

  • 14.00 (Frisco)/Sweden (B-2--3-0-0-1) vs. Finland (A-3--2-0-1-1)

Relegation Game

All games will be played 3 x 20 plus a 10-minute overtime period, three skaters a side, followed by a five-shot, penalty-shot shootout.

The quarter-finals winners will be re-ranked to determine semi-finals matchups. The top-ranked team will play the lowest-ranked team, and the second-ranked will play the third-ranked.

In the relegation game, the winner qualifies for the U18 in 2026 while the loser will be demoted to Division I-A.
