Tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, the two semi-final games of the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship take place: Switzerland will face Norway at 3:20 PM, followed by Canada versus Finland at 8:00 PM. On Sunday, May 31, the bronze medal game will begin at 3:30 PM, while the gold medal game is scheduled for 8:20 PM.

The Organizing Committee of the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship would like to inform visitors that large crowds are expected in the Official Fan Zone in Zurich on both days. Due to the high attendance already recorded last weekend, it is very likely that the maximum capacity will once again be reached, meaning access to the Official Fan Zone may be temporarily or fully restricted.

To avoid unnecessary waiting times or a potentially unsuccessful trip, all visitors are asked to check the official website of the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship at 2026.iihfworlds.com or the official IIHF Instagram channel before their visit.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and we look forward to an exciting final weekend.

Even though there are no more games being played at the BCF Arena, the Official Fan Zone in Fribourg will remain open until the end of the 2026 IIHF WM.
