With Sakari Manninen’s dramatic 4-3 overtime winner against Canada in the gold medal game, Finland rules supreme as world champions and Olympic champions. That amazing achievement naturally gives the host nation first place in our final Power Rankings of the 2022 Worlds. The never-say-die Canadians finish second. The Czechs come in third, thanks to their big 8-3 bronze medal win over the U.S. that ended a 10-year medal drought at this tournament. Thank you all for an amazing tournament in Suomi, and see you all again next year in Tampere and Riga!
