U.S. keeps first place, Canada second, Finns into third

Is there any stopping this turbocharged U.S. team? In the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship quarter-finals, the hosts registered a 10-0 victory over Japan. Coach John Wroblewski’s Americans remain in top spot in our third Power Rankings. The second-place Canadians were full value for their 5-1 win over Sweden to advance to the final four. Meanwhile, Finland, which downed Switzerland 3-1, climbs into third place over the Czechs, who just edged out a gritty German side with a 1-0 win. The excitement is mounting as the semi-finals loom!
