In our fourth edition of the Power Rankings at the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, the suspense is building as we gear up for the quarter-finals in Stockholm and Herning. Coming off a big 5-3 win over host Sweden to top Group A, Canada retains its (so far) iron grasp on first place. But the Americans are hot on Canada’s heels thanks to their impressive 5-2 victory over the reigning champion Czechs. The Swiss, who won Group B by downing Kazakhstan 4-1, make it into third place. Big shake-ups could be in the works on Thursday, and we are so here for all the fun!
