Get ready for ticket sale - make sure that you get pre access

The 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship will take place in Stockholm and Herning from May 9th to May 25th, 2025. Stockholm will serve as the primary venue, hosting Sweden's group stage games, two quarter-finals, both semi-finals, as well as the bronze and gold medal games. Herning in Denmark, will host the other group games along with two of the four quarter-finals.

The following teams from Group A will play their preliminary round in Stockholm: Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden. The following Group B teams will play in Herning: Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Norway, Switzerland, and the United States. The official game schedule will be published later this year.
