On Tuesday, 22 October, a press conference was held in the České Budějovice arena for the Women's World Championship, which will take place in the South Bohemian capital in April next year. Information about ticket sales was announced and the representatives of the championship also spoke about the hero who will accompany the tournament.
Tickets for the afternoon games, which will be played at 3 pm and 7 pm, will be in one package. Those with the Czech duel will cost CZK 450 and those without the Czechs CZK 100 less.
The sale starts on November 7 at 12 noon. At the same time, voting will also take place for the name of the mascot that will accompany the spectators throughout the tournament. "Alex, that's from the name Alexandra, is the protector of women's hockey. Tori, that's Victoria - victory. And finally Ava, who symbolizes speed, movement and forward direction," explained Filip Kregl, the author of the visual identity of the championship.
