Game schedule announced for IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship

2025 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship will take place in Tikkurila Arena, Vantaa from 4 to 12 January.

On the opening day, Saturday, January 4, the home team Finland will face neighboring Sweden in a game starting at 1.30 p.m.

The other opening day games are USA vs. Japan (10 am), Czechia vs. Switzerland (5 pm) and Canada vs. Slovakia (8:30 pm).

After the opening day, the preliminary round will continue on Sunday 5th and Tuesday 7th January. Four games will be played on both days.

The quarterfinals will be played on Thursday, January 9. Home team Finland will play in the game starting at 5 p.m.

Semifinals will be played on Saturday, January 11. If advanced to the semifinals, Finland will play in the afternoon game starting at 3 p.m. The second semifinal will start at 18:30.

The teams that end up in the relegation game will meet on Saturday, January 11 at 11:30 am.

The medal games will be played on Sunday, January 12. The bronze medal game starts at 15:00 and the final at 19:00.
