We still feel the vibrations in Scandinavium after Friday's match between Canada and Sweden.

- This was probably the best match I've ever played, says Canadian defender Maverick Lamoureux in an interview with local paper GöteborgsPosten.

The stands were colored red and yellow and the cheers never stopped as two of the WJC’s best teams met in front of 11,512 euphoric fans. The day after, the local newspaper GöteborgsPosten published an article that highlights how some of the Canadians experienced the incredible atmosphere.

- I have been to twelve JVM and this was one of the most fun things I have been part of, especially in Europe. It was fun and it was electric, says TSN's reporter, Mark Masters to GP. It exceeded my expectations. Gothenburg has done an incredible job.

Canadian defender Maveric Lamoureux also pays tribute to the fans in the interview:
- This was probably the best match I've ever played and probably the loudest. I've heard about the fans in Europe and how loud they were, I definitely felt it today.

Alan Letang, head coach of Canada, agrees:
- The atmosphere was fantastic, the crowd from both sides created an incredible atmosphere. I got goosebumps.
