In our final Power Rankings of the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship, the Americans end up right back where we put them on Day One: on top of the world! With a well-deserved 6-2 gold medal game win, they consigned Sweden to second place despite the host nation’s great run both on and off the ice. The Czechs earn third place after a wild five-goal outburst in the third period to down Finland 8-5 in the bronze medal game. It’s been another magical ride during the holidays, and we look forward to bringing international hockey fans more fun with the Power Rankings as 2024 progresses.
