A new Champions Hockey League Board member has been elected at today’s General Assembly in Prague as Henrik Bach Nielsen replaces Franz Reindl, who stepped down, as the representative of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).

The CHL held its annual General Assembly on Wednesday in Prague, Czechia. On this occasion, the 33 shareholders (26 clubs, 6 leagues and the IIHF) elected Henrik Bach Nielsen to the CHL Board as its newest member. The IIHF Regional Vice-President Europe & Africa now also represents the International Ice Hockey Federation on the CHL Board and takes over duties from Franz Reindl, who was in office since 2018.

Since Reindl was elected for a three-year term in June 2021, Henrik Bach Nielsen will take over for the following two years, until the next election of the entire CHL Board in 2024.
